Valami Amerika 3

Director:
Gábor Herendi

Returning to the beloved Várnai brothers in a fresh direction, Valami Amerika 3 takes the franchise into action-comedy territory with the trio landing in a real prison setting—the Petőfi military barracks and Vác prison facilities were used to capture the new tone of breakouts and mob chases. While maintaining the slapstick and pop-culture humour that fans love, the film injects a bold dose of caper film aesthetics—gang rivalries, high-stakes theft and a surreal prison stint make this sequel stand out.

Premiering in early 2018 and produced by Skyfilm under the direction of Gábor Herendi, Valami Amerika 3 opened the film festival circuit by launching at the Hungarian Film Festival of Los Angeles and quickly became one of Hungary’s biggest-opening comedies, boasting over . With its energetic ensemble, memorable characters and a cheeky wink to its own legacy, it wraps up the trilogy with style and laughs.
