Poligamy
Poligamy follows András (Csányi Sándor) and Lilla (Tompos Kátya), a seemingly perfect couple—until one morning András wakes up beside a different woman, and then another, and another. Suddenly, he’s trapped in a surreal romantic loop where every version of Lilla tests his idea of love, desire and commitment. Written and directed by Dénes Orosz in his feature debut and produced by Skyfilm, the movie turns relationship comedy into witty social satire with cinematic flair.
Premiering in 2009, the film became a festival favourite, winning Best Screenplay at Breckenridge and Best Foreign Film at the Long Island International Film Expo. Shot across multiple Budapest locations, Poligamy captures the pulse of the city with stylish cinematography, sharp humour, and a modern twist on love in the urban age.
